Memorial Day 2010

The family rode our bikes to the Visalia Cemetery to honor those who gave the ultimate sacrifice so we can enjoy all of our freedom here in the USA. We had a few bike issues -so Jake & I dusted off the tandem and raced down Goshen Avenue. We arrived to the sound of rifles- followed by "Taps" . Over 1800 large flags were on display each representing a local soldier who died serving our country- it was a powerful sight. We also visited the graves of loved ones- including GMA Harry for the first time since her funeral-miss her a lot. Abbey travels to Wales today- she has been gone for a week already-That's all for now- getting warmed up for the Tour-36 days till takeoff from LAX-Air France-Au Revoir(Good Bye) -KADALAK
