What's in the Trunk???

My post was bombarded with comments in anticipation of creaking open the trunk and finding out what treasures lay inside- not a jack in the box- sorry no gold from the Spanish Armada- just a few mementos from years gone by. Judy was surprised to find a cheer leading patch from Ontario Christian High. I found several memories of a time in my life when I competed in a lot of sporting events- mostly running. So--- not in any particular order- Jersey from slow pitch softball team, newspaper clipping from the Orange Bowl Marathon- nobody would believe it actually got that cold in sunny Florida where I qualified for the Boston Marathon- a program from Boston- A silver bowl from a 10 km. in Battle Creek ,Michigan where Kellogg's is located- cool wooden shoe from a 20 km. in Holland,MI.- a Robyn 23 channel CB- now that dates me- you kids may have to google CB in order to find out more info- also several love letters from Judy-trophies which are actually dust collectors-time to clean the trunk-Happy Mother's Day-KADALAK

Smell the roses

May 1, 2011. Time to stop and smell the roses here at home. This is the best Spring we have ever had here in the Central Valley. I took a few pictures of our garden- tomatoes, onions, peppers, squash, and basil, not to mention a few uninvited pests... Our front yard is spectacular!!! Gracey got into the Miracle grow last night- I did not recognize her this morning-she looked like a shetland pony grazing in our backyard- had to take the picture by the gate- no the picture has not been altered! Finally back to reality- tomorrow is Monday and garbage day- weekends are for re-fueling-KADALAK P.S. double click the pictures!!

Contract Signed!!

Kibbles and Bits and Meow Mix have partnered in a new ad campaign kicking off during the NCAA Final Four Men's Basketball Tournament this weekend. The ad campaign focuses on cats and dogs that are actually compatible and like each other. At the annual Quail Run Christmas Party at the Zeeb's, Judy and I met a Hollywood Producer who specializes in filming animals. Over our fence- Gracie, Jackson, and the cat started doing what they do- the Producer noticed- grabbed her camera- rushed next door and did what she does- and YES!!! Gracie,Jackson, and the cat will be seen Coast to Coast this weekend on national television!! Don't miss it!! The contract has been signed- no worries for the critters- KADALAK @ Pudah will be traveling in style- in a new MOTORHOME!! We leave tomorrow to see Beau, Alicia and Kensie- then head east to see my Mom and Abbey, Jake, and Dizzy -KADALAK

Opening Night!!

Tonight was opening night at Central Valley Christian High School for the musical AIDA. Elton John and Tim Rice's AIDA is a contemporary musical- love story -based in Egypt- a long time ago when Pharaoh's ruled.Basically in USA terms- the Hatfield's and McCoy's were not friends- Egypt and Nubia were not friends. A guy and a gal from each side connected which caused a lot of chaos. But does love finally prevail?? You decide. CVC has two more performances-Friday @ Saturday- check it out. Emily, Victoria, and many of their friends helped to make AIDA a tremendous success - they actually did bring the house down!!! Beau you would have loved this musical-KADALAK

So what do we feed our happy cows who live at the Cadillac Ranch?? Answer -a total mixed ration- TMR -every bite they consume contains precisely what our girls need to be healthy and produce the wholesome milk you crave!! Menu- Alfalfa hay, corn silage, rolled corn, canola, almond hulls, whole cottonseed, orange peel, molasses, one a day bovine vitamins- all mixed up fresh every morning and served steps from their beds- almost but not quite breakfast in bed!! Cadillac Ranch

After 2 inches of rain yesterday, the skies are blue, the mountains are dusted white, and my happy cows are high and dry!! Enclosed are several pictures of our dairy-the Cadillac Ranch-located in the heart of the San Joaquin Valley. I posted one picture for our girls that will bring back some fun memories from the past. 2000 cows call our 2 1/2 free stall barns home. Free stall barns are covered with roofs to keep out the elements, have large fans and water soakers to keep the Holsteins cool when the temperature gets HOT; best of all- individual beds for the divas to sleep in. Tomorrow I will post some info on what a cow eats- no Diners, Drive ins, or Dives for these bovine beauties!! My partner Brad has the nutrition dialed in to deliver you nature's perfect food-FitPro Milk - KADALAK

A different cap

After 20 years in the dairy business I found myself wearing yet another cap-an entrepreneur debuting his product. Brad my partner, Maddie our only full time employee, her friend Daiana, Judy, and myself busted our butts from Wednesday-Friday at the IHRSA international trade show at the Moscone Center in downtown San Francisco. The City by the Bay was quite a change for Farmer Phil and Judy-honestly it was hard to leave my pitchfork at home!! We made several great connections from coast to coast as well as Mexico, Barbados, Brazil, Dominican Republic, South Korea and China. We served close to 2000 samples of FitPro milk in 2 days. We had a lot of fun, but the 12 hour days were exhausting-standing most of the time. Our website fitpromilk.com is up and running-slowly at first. We are anticipating a lot of hits from IHRSA and have a really BIG joint venture that looks promising- off to Bernard and Maxie's for dinner-KADALAK

Debut of FitPro Milk

Judy and I are driving to a trade show in San Francisco with 80 cases of our new product- FitPro Milk. FitPro milk is a high protein, low carb, nutrient packed milk shake. It comes in 2 flavors- vanilla and chocolate , is made from real milk- no powders- and tastes fantastic. Brad Kloss is my partner in this venture. He is my nutritionist on the dairy and is also an avid cyclist. We discovered a need for a ready to drink, great tasting, natural milk product .Fit Pro Milk fills that need.It can be used as a pre or post workout drink or as a meal replacer for a quick snack. It is gluten free, lactose free and comes from cows here in California-fresh and natural. We will post some pictures later. FitPro Milk- from our cows to you-enjoy-KADALAK
